     In January 2015, Tricia started an editorial internship at Mother Earth News. There, she discovered her love for gardening and living a sustainable lifestyle. Her goal was to use her garden as much as possible in her catering, as well as in her own home diet.


     2 Chefs had to start partnering with local farms because the demand became higher than a home garden could sustain. So, 2 Chefs began building relationships with local farms to supply the catering company and also the restaurant in Ozawkie, Kansas. Ryan and Tricia took over management of the Lake Ridge Bar and Grill in June 2018 and continued to promote locally grown and owned.
